Meet Aaishah (Esha), she will be opening up a world of strength training in a fun and challenging way through her HOT HIIT class. She is a senior at CMU, and studies Exercise Science. She was aspired to go into a health field because she had to lose a lot of weight to join the Army NG. She wants to use her experience and degree to provide people with guidance and support to accomplish their health and fitness goals. Strength training is a great component to get fit, have a healthy life, and to be able to pick up heavy stuff! Strength training not only gets you fit but it also makes you confident to conquer the world, making it a great routine to add to your daily schedule.
Outside of her love and passion for fitness, she enjoys reading, playing chess, activities outdoors such as biking, drawing, and spending time with family and friends, and she has a pet python named Zola.
How do you want your students to feel after leaving your class? I want my students to feel like they have just discovered how strong they truly are. I want them to walk out of the studio with a mindset that they are going to kick butt and take names (Not literally) but to simply apply this calculated confidence to the rest of the day.
Coolest thing you’ve ever done? I have had the opportunity to do some pretty cool things being a military member and I think one of them was sliding down a rope attached to a 64-foot tower. My adrenaline was rushing!
What is the first thing you do when you wake up? The first thing I do is to pray and then get ready to work out!
